Squares and Triangles

by Joanna on January 24, 2014

Nesting bowls get me every time. Functionality—plus the oh-so cute aesthetic of ever decreasing mini bowls—makes these bowls from Haand a new favorite. Made in North Carolina, this set is designed around a large square bowl, with a series of triangles subdividing it. Made of porcelain, the firing process is unique: high firing temperatures manipulate the porcelain into “a shape that is both sharp and fluid.” The organic curves paired with the precise symmetry remind me of leaves or flowers. It’s a beautiful set, and truly a departure from traditional nesting bowls.

Love the dishes. I think the above comment is spam. They probably want you to click on the movers link. I recognize it from numerous spam comments on my blog. Good luck!
