The Anthology team is gearing up for a few big projects in the coming weeks, and I’ve been busy testing recipes for some shoots we have lined up. Going into the weekend, I’ve got big plans for crepes! They’re such a versatile base. Once you get the hang of making them the variations are endless, and weekend mornings are the perfect excuse to experiment. If you’re looking for something savory, Martha’s crepe square looks delicious. Smitten Kitchen’s Sugar Plum Crepes stuffed with ricotta would be perfect for all the plums in markets right now. And if you’re feeling ambitious, try a crepe cake! The batter is best if you mix it up the night before; so if you put some in the fridge Friday evening, it will be perfect for Saturday morning.

I saw that first photo and thought “WHAT??” Everything looks so delicious.
From the first crepe to the last, they all look absolutely mouth watering!
These look positively divine! I love crepes and have made crepe cakes and appreciate the time and effort it takes to make and cool each layer.
Yuuum! Summer is kicking off here in Australia and that can only mean one thing – Scandi style crepe cake! Thanks for the inspiration, I can’t wait to try these!
