{The Dig} Let’s Go Camping

by kate on August 31, 2012

Well, it’s here: the unofficial end of summer! Usually by this time, I’m already dreaming of falling leaves, mulled cider, knitting projects, and roasted root vegetables. We’re going to be diving head first into new fall projects soon, including our second online-only holiday gift guide, so I know there’s a lot to look forward to. But for now, I want to savor every remaining minute of summer. My fiance and I are heading to Andrew Molera State Park in Big Sur, and I was inspired to share a few images I dug up to celebrate the fun of camping in summer—or any season, really. Nothing says summer to me quite like a pitched tent, a pot on the fire, and a blanket of stars overhead. Whatever your plans are for Labor Day, I hope you have a wonderful celebration, and we’ll see you back here on Tuesday!
