Virtual Landscapes by Seth Curcio

by kate on August 3, 2012

It’s been a whirlwind week for us! Issue No. 9 is coming together nicely, and we hate to admit it, as the summer has been so warm and lovely, but we’re already looking forward to the crisp air and turning leaves of fall. As I was browsing the newest exhibition at Little Paper Planes, one of our favorite sites for original artwork, these collages by Seth Curcio practically leapt off the screen. Seth pieced together imagery from first-person video games to create these richly textured, epic landscapes. I feel like I can just sink right into these scenes; the deep, saturated earthy tones perfectly capture my autumnal mood. If you’re in the market for new artwork, there are some truly wonderful pieces to be found here. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
