After seeing Alexis’ post on Monday, I was inspired to go on a hunt for vessels. I’ve always been partial to home and art objects that invite interaction beyond their simple functional tasks, and these India Stacking Vessels designed by Pia Wüstenberg are calling out to me. Essentially each piece is three vessels in one, but they stack to form these eye-catching organic shapes. The mixture of metal, burled wood, and jewel-toned glass is so elegant; they perfectly capture the richness and warmth of the traditional craftwork of India. Here are some other pieces from this exhibition, which was curated by Sotheby’s. And to see more of Pia’s work, visit her site here.
