Hooray! Summer has officially arrived, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Nothing screams summer to me like watermelon. I love the vivid color of watermelon, and the taste of its cool refreshing sweetness instantly conjures up such happy memories of lazy summer days. Since tomorrow is the first official holiday of summer, it seemed like the perfect time to create a roundup inspired by this beautiful fruit.
I hope you all have fun plans for the holiday tomorrow; I’m hoping to play a little tennis, watch some fireworks, and enjoy some delicious food in the company of my friends and family. We’re going to take a break from posting tomorrow, but we’ll be back to our regular schedule on Thursday with our last installment of Sketches Exclusive with Grace Lee. Have a wonderful 4th of July!!

Watermelon, brilliant red–you’re right in that there’s nothing else that says “summer” more. I love the patterns you’ve included. I always like switching up my space for the summer. It lets me let my hair down and relax. An easy way I’ve found is swapping out what wall art I have up.
How cute and clever it the print by Sarah Illenberger?! I love it.
I don’t think there’s anything else I like more than cold watermelon on a hot summer day. And those mojito pops and the sorbet look scrumptious.
