Shape Shop

Last month one of my favorite online design publications, Sight Unseen, created a p0p-up Shape Shop in the gallery space of Creatures of Comfort—one of my favorite boutiques in NYC. Had I been able to free up time and accompany Meg during her trip for Design Week, I would have ushered us over there immediately to check it out. The show has since ended, but I happened to notice that some of the objects from the Shape Shop are now available at the Sight Unseen online shop. Hooray!

If you have a soft spot for unusual handcrafted objects, you should definitely head over there to browse the wares: triangular pillows, hexagonal marble trivets, and awesomely sculptural block necklaces await. Another wonderful element to Sight Unseen is that many of the designers in the shop are also featured in the magazine, so you can learn more about the person that made your newest favorite home object. Click here to visit the site, and visit the shop here. Happy shape shopping!
