I’m feeling so refreshed and inspired after the long holiday weekend, and also a trip to Philadelphia. Meg, Anh-Minh, and I spent most of last week in Philadelphia for a shoot for an upcoming issue, and also for a collaborative event at Anthropologie’s headquarters. (Watch for a peek at the event later this week!)
This was my first time in Philadelphia and the trip came up quickly, so I didn’t have time to form many expectations. But if I had, I think they would have been blown away. The city was wonderful: we ate delicious food, met the most interesting people, and visited so many shops. One of my favorites was The Clay Studio. It was both a gallery space and shop dedicated to ceramics. The space was filled with shelves displaying the wares of dozens of artists, and under each shelf was a cabinet with a note inviting visitors to explore them. It was such a treat to open each door—like opening a treasure chest filled with platters, mugs, vases, and tea pots. These are the works of some of my favorite artists I discovered at The Clay Studio.

Guauuuu! love it!
I would love to fill my cupboards with these! Especially with the colours and shapes of the first and third sets, the designs on the fourth and the designs of the fifth. But really: all the colours!
these are fantastic!
