I have always dreamt about buying a big plot of land somewhere and permanently parking an Airstream trailer right in the middle of it. There’s definitely something about being close to nature and breathing in the fresh air that tempts me away from urban life. Even the food tastes better! When I saw this image of an ecoPerch, nestled in a family of trees, the vision of the classic metal trailer quickly faded away and was replaced by this modern wooden retreat.
The ecoPerch is designed by Blue Forest, a sustainable design and construction firm based in the UK. Each building sleeps four, and has a bathroom and a small kitchen. Depending on the land and how prepared the site is, these can be installed within five days. With its oval shape, natural materials, and unique design, there is minimal impact on the landscape. The ecoPerch can be built either on the ground or in treetops!

Eek!! Yes please!
we dreamed the same dream, so we bought a vintage 73 painted airstream, hit the road, and thought we’d find a piece of land to stop on when we weren’t out and about.. we ended up buying a tiny house over a century old and parking the airstream out back as the guest house..for now. love this post, the ecoperch is amazing.
Absolutely love the top view. The vintage look and general concept just work. Amazing!
How funky. x
