Styled for Spring

by kate on March 9, 2012

Hooray for Friday! We’re all excited to head out and enjoy a little R&R this weekend; a few of us are traveling down to Southern California to visit friends and family, while the rest of us will soak up the sun locally. With daylight savings time beginning this Sunday, it seems like spring is finally on its way. Although I know I should be wishing for rain to feed our thirsty California crops, I’m having a hard time wishing the sun would go away. To celebrate the coming of spring, I wanted to send you into the weekend with some amazing imagery.

This is the styling work of Jamo Associates, a Tokyo-based studio that specializes in architectural and interior design. Scrolling through their archive of projects for clients including Real Simple, Esquire, Elle Decor, and Marie Claire, I found myself transported into a hazy dream world of bright color, light, and open space—very spring-like and soothing. I would wager that a visit to their site would provide you with some delight and inspiration before you head out for the day; I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Um, actually daylight saving time is starting this weekend as it is used in the summertime. Sorry to call you out on that one , it just got my notice.

Though I love the image of succulents surrounding a snow globe!

Right you are! Thanks for pointing that out- it’s one of those things that my mind always wants to mix up, no matter how many times I try to remember. :)

What lovely images. Love the test tube vases and the succulents in silver.
