I started the week with a little surrealism to celebrate our upcoming issue’s theme: wit & whimsy. Once I began searching for whimsical ideas and objects, I found it difficult to stop: today I have another delightful find to whet your appetite. These Pantone tarts were created by Emilie Griottes, a French food blogger with a penchant for happy, colorful, adorable food. You may be asking yourself, can food be adorable? Yes, it can. These edible color chips are just one of Emilie’s culinary inventions; here are couple of my personal favorites, but you can search all of Emilie’s projects by color as well. In the meantime, I’ll leave to drool over this delectable rainbow…

Très beau clin d œil !
this must have been fun to plan and put together…specially given that color not only decorates it also evoques images from stuff in our daily lives…it is just lovely …thank you!!

Absolutely love them! And what fun…although I’m slobbering right now, I’m pretty sure I’d prefer staring at them hungrily than actually biting into them. :-D
