Even though a large part of it will be spent working, we’re still super excited to head out and enjoy the lovely weekend. For some reason the Bay Area climate believes it’s May, not January, but hey, we’re not complaining! I’ve got dreams of cleaning both my home and studio this weekend, so if that actually happens, I think I might treat myself to a night of baking. At the top of my to-bake list are these sponge cakes with coffee buttercream frosting and sliced almonds, created by the amazingly talented ladies of Spoon Fork Bacon.
