As the online editor and contributor to a print publication, I often feel like I’m straddling two worlds. My struggle to balance my digital duties with my responsibilities IRL makes me pretty excited for this nifty little gizmo—the fact that it’s adorable is just icing on the cake.
The Little Printer from Berg design studio in London is a compact, thermal, inkless printer that connects wirelessly to the web via your computer or smart phone. You can subscribe to certain feeds and applications, and receive printouts of puzzles, to-do lists, notes from friends, news snippets, and more. I am a rampant list-maker who still prefers paper to a screen, so even though it’s still in beta testing, this invention is just too exciting for me not to share with you all. It’s supposed to become available in 2012, but you can get on a wait list by clicking here. I can’t wait to own this little guy—who’s with me?
*Hey Everyone! News of The Little Printer just came out on November 29th, and I think all the excitement about it has caused the site to crash. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I think if you check back soon they will have it up and running again!

So fantastic, but when I tried to click over the links don’t seem to be working.
Hi Blair,
Sorry about that! I think that they are getting lots of the traffic and their sit has crashed temporarily. It should be back up soon. I would try waiting a day and checking back in if you’d like to get on the mailing list. Sorry for the inconvenience!
