There’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than to participate in a little community merriment and support a good cause. West Elm and Etsy are teaming up to put on a series of Handmade Holiday Workshops at all West Elm locations across the country this Thursday. At these events, you can create handmade ornaments; meet local Etsy sellers and shop their wares; and contribute gifts and decorations to people in need. Each store has selected a local charity; click here to find out which sellers and charities will be participating at your nearest location.
I’m excited to see the Etsy sellers coming to my local West Elm store in Emeryville: Petit Collage, Paulova Ceramics, Design des Troy, and more. I’ve included some images of their goods below so you can get a preview of what you might see there, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they pull out a few new items for the event as well. I don’t know how you normally spend Thursday evenings, but this seems like a great alternative to my usual routine this time of year: me and the cat, fighting over the seat in front of the space heater.
