I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend! We feel rested and ready to dive into December and beyond. Our handmade issue is in production, and we hope that the Gift Guide provided some fun weekend reading for you all.
I’m not usually one to put up twinkly lights and hang ornaments the day after Thanksgiving, but I definitely enjoy watching from the sidelines as the holiday excitement begins to buzz in the air around me. I haven’t been into the city to see any windows displays yet, but these images of the Bergdorf Goodman Windows in NYC blow any expectations I might have out of the water. Entitled “Carnival of the Animals,” these displays contain everything from brass menageries to sequin and rhinestone encrusted deep sea aquatic life. I can only imagine how amazing these look in person, but ogling the pictures is pretty fun, too.
