Since reading the article in our fifth issue about Anandamayi Arnold and her incredible paper creations, I’ve been dying to get my hands on some paper and experiment with making a few things. In addition to studying Andanamayi’s meticulous crepe fruits and plants, I’m also looking to these beautiful handcrafted paper flowers created by Thuss & Farrell to help fuel my inspiration. T&F is the husband-and-wife team Rebecca Thuss and Patrick Farrell, a stylist and a photographer, respectively. The duo provide a multitude of creative services, from set design and art direction to photography and graphic design. I don’t think I can make anything as incredible as these or Anandamayi’s creations, but it’s certainly fun to study these images up close and see the materials being manipulated so skillfully.
