Sometimes when it feels as if life is conspiring against you and the stress is mounting, you need a little jolt of positivity to help you weather the storm. These artworks by Scott Albrecht are providing that jolt for me right now. The messages are sweet, encouraging, even a little corny. Seeing the words rendered in such tangible, perfectly imperfect material forms, however, allows the sentiments to carry more weight. Scott has just launched a a new series of prints with Little Paper Planes, so if you’re interested in seeing one of his optimistic beauties in person everyday, you should definitely check them out. I find myself gravitating more towards these wooden pieces, especially the abstract piece above, and the piece below whose phrase could be my new favorite call-to-arms: “let’s make stuff!”

oh! I really love these works! and I think that it is always nice to have an optimistic sentence hangaing on the wall ( just in case…)
