Nikole Herriott Film

by kate on October 12, 2011

I don’t know if we’ve made it abundantly clear yet, but here at Anthology we love filmmaking. We’re proud to share another one with you today, and we promise to keep them coming! Directed by Thayer Allyson Gowdy, this film was made on location at the Herriotts’ farm in Nova Scotia, Canada, while we were also shooting the images for “Family Ties,” our story on Nikole Herriott, her father, and their online shop Herriott Grace. The piece is on page 58 of our third issue, but if you missed it, worry not! You can see outtakes from the photo shoot here, and you can enjoy this wonderful film, which captures a bit of the story without words. Enjoy!

Lovely film! Nikole’s father is an amazing woodworker; I enjoyed seeing him in his workshop. The music was perfect, too!

Love these people and their work, it’s a great little film of the two of them on the farm, chickens and all. Just want to point out that it is on the opposite coast of Canada, not Nova Scotia, but in BC! xogd
