Birch House

by Kate on September 22, 2011

Nothing says fall to me like birch trees. This stunning birch cabin stirs up fond memories of spending crispy autumn weekends at my family’s cabin in Maine, watching my dad chop felled birch into logs and toss them onto the firewood pile. I love the vertical panel design, and the extension of the birch onto the roof creates an incredible visual impact. I don’t know how practical this cabin is for living, but wow! It’s making me excited for all the textures that accompany the incoming season.

I really love this. I’ve always loved birch trees, and this little cabin is simply magical. How cool!
