Our Great Outdoors issue is going to drop soon, and I have to admit I have one thing on my mind when I think about going outdoors right now…grilling pizza! I just recently discovered the benefits of cooking pizzas on the grill, and now I’m hooked. If you’re looking for a way to get out of the kitchen on a hot summer night, I suggest heading to the grill with a glass of wine, a few freshly made dough rounds, and a pile of toppings from one of these delicious looking recipes. I’ve also found it helpful to have a few hungry friends around; making these pizzas is so easy, you may not want to stop. Have a great weekend, everyone!

This has to be one of my favorite summer meals — so simple, full of possibility and especially perfect for casual entertaining. My favorite is Black mission fig, Caramelized Onion + Pt. Reyes Blue with an Aged Balsamic-Blackberry reduction. Heaven.
My cousin in Boston can make a mean grilled pizza–I’ll have to pass this recipe onto her to see if she can work something up. There’s nothing like a pizza fresh off the grill, is there? Such a perfect summer meal! I’m hungry, now!
