My impulses purchases usually involve one of two things: chairs or art. For some reason these are the objects I can’t resist. Even with an acute lack of wall space, I’m finding this Tree of Life poster hard to pass up. When viewed up close, the organic tree rings in the print reveal themselves to be composed of hundreds of tiny animals marching in circles. Such a smart, simple idea, and executed beautifully. The print is $45, and is available online from Degree.

This brings me back to childhood science fairs and optical illusions. You’re right, what a smart, beautifully-crafted piece!
Simple but wonderful elegant and intricate. Thanks for sharing!
