I ran across the work of Becca Stadtlander while doing some research for an Anthology project due out later this year, and I immediately fell in love. I would like to live inside one of these illustrated landscapes, and the patterns are pretty incredible as well. Her work is charmingly unfussy, yet Becca still manages to amaze and delight the eye with the tiniest little painted details. If her work looks familiar, it might because you’ve seen it in a magazine here or there, but luckily Becca sells prints of her illustrations as well. And if you’d like to see more, take a peek at Becca’s blog—where she posts numerous works in progress and other visual goodies.

Exquisite artwork! Love the clarity, freshness, and simplicity of line – any of which would also be an accomplishment for poets as they write or revise.
Such a way with colors. I just love her work.
So Pretty, I could almost see some of them turn into fabric.
