Anh-Minh’s article about seeking out the calmer, quieter side of Vegas was one of my favorite pieces in the most recent issue. I’ve always felt a bit intimidated by the energy coming off of the Strip and usually reach my limit after only a night or two, but I could spend days milling around the cool locales and food stops that Anh-Minh and photographer Jen Siska found. Here are a few extra outtakes from their jaunt through Vegas, including some beautiful shots of the desert and its paintbox of ruddy hues. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed this story from the issue, too. It was a refreshing read on my tube commute to work! I’m itching to visit the Neon Museum – all those wonderful colours!
