Work.place

There is a batch of new sites cropping up that document the homes and workshops of members of the creative community. We’ve featured a couple here already, including An Afternoon With and The Makers. Carlie Armstrong’s Work.place is another gem in the same vein. If any of you are Apartamento fans like I am, then you will enjoy Armstrong’s similarly no-fuss, low-tech, hazy-afternoon style photographs, all taken with a Twin Lens Reflex camera. As long as there are creative communities thriving in the world, and photographers with their own unique vision to document them, I wouldn’t mind if a hundred more sites of this nature crop up. Do any of you know of a similar creative community-based site I’ve overlooked? I’d love to discover more, especially any that are focused outside of the United States.

Wow! Thanks for introducing me to this website! It’s fun to take a peek into other creative’s studios.
