Forestbound

by kate on May 16, 2011

I just visited the giant antiques show in Brimfield, Massachusetts, this past week and it left me with an even deeper appreciation for objects that have history and character. I had the chance to admire many fantastic woven blankets, canvas tents, old flags, pennants, and other historic textiles, and they reminded me of the ones that Forestbound use to create their line of canvas totes. Forestbound searches all over New England to find beautiful well-worn textiles and hardware, and the details on each well-crafted bag make each design truly one-of-a-kind. These would make great tote bags, to be sure, but I also love the idea of using some of the larger styles around the home—for magazines, linens, or as a great tool or supply bag.
