I’ve been wanting to add a few pieces of art to my collection this year, and in my search I landed on the paintings of Russel Leng. We featured one of his paintings last year as one our favorite selections from The Mammoth Collection, but at the time I neglected to actually dig further into his body of work. I was missing out!
Russel Leng’s paintings are a rich combination of geometric forms and thick brush strokes. I love it when you get a strong sense of the texture of paint even from an online image. Even though we’re slowly heading out of the gloomy weather, I’m finding myself quite drawn to the cool, foggy palette of these paintings. To admire Russel’s larger body of work, you can visit his portfolio site here.
