Royal weddings always cause a bit of a hullabaloo, and the impending nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton are promising to be no exception. Frivolous? Possibly. But in the case of these two new projects, the grandeur of the upcoming royal wedding has inspired designs whose beauty, wit, and whimsy will provide enjoyment long after the knot has been tied. Whether or not they have a place in your home, I hope they provide a bit of celebratory good cheer to help ring in the weekend. Happy Friday, everyone!
To coincide with the festive atmosphere surrounding the royal engagement, illustrator Suzi Kemp created Disposable Royal Wedding, a series of paper plates, cups, hats and napkin rings that provide a touch of elegant charm to a celebration—without the fear of breaking anything. Kemp’s pastel palette, oversized gems and hand drawn rays of sparkle are perfect for princesses of any age.
UK-based wallpaper company Graham & Brown created Crowns and Coronets specifically for the occasion. In keeping with the celebratory mood, they are currently offering 20% off their collection of royal products, including several of their paint colors. Crowns and Coronets is not only decadent in its design, but comes with a fun twist: it can be dressed up with glittering adhesive jewels in diamond, emerald, sapphire, onyx and topaz.

The paper goods are amazing and LOVE the wallpaper!!
That wallpaper is genius! I’d want at least one wall in my house covered in it. And the paper pieces are inspired, definitely. Something that anyone would be able to use for a party of some sort. Thanks for sharing. :)
I think I need to throw a Royal Wedding party now just so I have an excuse to order those beautiful paper goods!
Fantastic stuff!
Love all these! They make me want to have a Kate + William fete!
