When you see an incredible editorial spread in a catalog or magazine, do you ever wonder about the interiors, which all seem too good to be true? I know I do. When a friend sent me a link to the JJ Locations site, it was like being given a ticket to real estate dreamland. Established in 1987 by photographer Johnny Jones, the company rents out the most jaw-dropping interiors in the UK and a few other countries for photographic and film shoots.
There are cottages, beach houses, apartments, and country homes; all boasting incredible light, big open spaces, and highly covetable furniture and decor. Browsing through the images is truly inspiring, and it’s fun to see if you can recognize any of the interiors from the numerous publications that have shot at these locations.
