Today’s young designers seem to be producing work that displays creativity and professionalism way beyond their years. At age 23 and still a student, Hilda Grahnat already has an impressive portfolio of styling, photography, graphic design, and collage work under her belt. She also sells a small line of products of her own design that even the most discerning of boutiques would be remiss not to carry.
I particularly love the Vintage By Color postcard series (top image), the Mountain Sky cutting board, and the new 2011 Calendar (shown above) that Grahnat produced in collaboration with her friend Andrea Andersson. Inspired by a recent trip Grahnat took to Japan, each month’s collage is crisp, sweet and lovely. You can purchase her designs here and also be sure to check out Grahnat’s blog, where she shares her penchant for flea market finds and more of her beautiful photographs.
