Yes, that’s a real suitcase. Williams British Handmade uses English bridle leather to produce these limited-edition, bespoke luggage pieces. According to their site, the company dedicates itself to the history of fine craftsmanship: Each brass frame design is handmade by a metal worker, every stitch is done by hand using traditional saddle stitching.
I think these designs are just brilliant. I’m not sure I would ever take it outside if I owned it, unless of course I needed to travel by old-fashioned locomotive or a little biplane on a romantic jaunt through Europe, wearing a fur-collar coat and gloves. That seems like the most appropriate setting for such luxurious artful luggage. Purchase inquiries can be made here.

OMG – I absolutely adore these!!! How clever and creative – and you can tell that the workmanship is brilliant. Going to head over there now to see what “normal” offerings they have in store!!
wow. I hurt for these.
WOW!
These are works of art! I can imagine carrying the top one – it’s beautiful & ergonomic.
Great post!
Thanks Kristiana! I would also want to own the first one. I love the pale mint color on the “L” shaped design, but the simplicity of the slight bend in the first design is so lovely, and it does seem like the most comfortable to carry.
