Kate’s post yesterday about faux books reminded me of one of my favorite possessions: an Alyson Fox painting that I had commissioned for my husband years ago. Instead of canvas, she created the piece on the book jacket of an old copy of Tobias Wolff’s This Boy’s Life. These days, it looks like Alyson—an Austin, Texas-based artist—is developing gorgeous patterns that will be used for wallpapers and fabrics.
Alyson conceived the patterns as part of her design entity A Small Collection. I couldn’t find details on when the wallpapers and fabrics will be released, but I’m definitely going to keep checking back in the hopes of getting more information.
