Sadly I was out of town this past Friday and I missed the Curiosity Shoppe launch party for Print Workshop, the awesome new how-to from Christine Schmidt of Yellow Owl Workshop. The book was officially released just a couple weeks ago and already it’s making waves.
What I love most about Christine’s work is the ingenuity of her designs. She goes well beyond basic pillows and table linens in this book. The projects are modern, beautiful and truly unique—perfect for gift-giving or for sprucing up your own home. I especially appreciate how generous she was with sharing her own hand-drawn designs as templates; they are just too lovely for words.
You can read more about the book and grab a great look at some of the projects inside by checking out the reviews by Jan at Poppytalk and Nole from Oh So Beautiful Paper. If you are in the San Francisco area, I highly recommend popping into the Curiosity Shoppe to check out the show. If you’re too far away for a visit, you can still pick up a copy of Print Workshop on their site.
